Jacob Sibert married three times: 1. Sarah "Sally" Hamner, Nov. 28, 1833, Bartholomew Co., Indiana 2. Sarah "Sally" Armer Jan. 10, 1860, Bartholomew Co. 3. Mary (Day) Herod, Oct. 11, 1874, Bartholomew Co. The Evening Republican Columbus, Indiana Friday, Sept. 17, 1880 Jacob Seibert died very suddenly at 11 o'clock last night, of heart disease at the Seibert House near the depot. He was an old citizen much respected by all who knew him, and his death will pain as well as surprise many. He was born in Washington, Ky., November 17, 1812, and consequently lacked two months of being sixty-eight years of age . He removed to this city about eight months ago and has resided here since. His funeral will take place from the Methodist church at 10 o'clock to-morrow, conducted by Rev. Chas. Tinsley, and the remains will be interred in Sandcreek cemetery.
