Jerry "Pete" Rose, 77, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Friday November 30, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, September 2, 1941 in Jones County, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Pecan Grove in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Pecan Grove and the Burial will follow in Walters Cemetery. Bro. Dave Moran, Bro. John Cockrell and Bro. Shane Byrd will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Rose; mother, Naomi Rose; brother, Freddie Rose, brother in-law, Billy McCraney.
