U.S. Veteran Freddie Rose, 78 of Bay St Louis, MS, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10am, on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello, MS is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 5-9 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Freddie enjoyed bluegrass music, art and carving woodwork. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Parents: Lawrence Rose and Naomi Henderson Rose, Daughter: Penny Diane Clifton, Grandson: Dylan Lee Barham. Survivors Include: Wife: Betty J Rose; Bay St Louis, MS Daughter: Suzanne Rose Barham; Bay St Louis, MS Brother: Jerry Rose and wife Judy; Laurel, MS Brother: Grady Rose and wife Jerri; Walla Walla, WA Sister: Merle McCraney; Laurel, MS. 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
