KAREN'S OBITUARY Karen J. O'Neill age 75, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, NE. Karen Jean was born October 16, 1943, in Sargent, NE, to Raymond and Gladys (Gruber) Johnson. Karen graduated in 1962, from Sargent High School. On December 30, 1961, Karen was united in marriage to Jim O'Neill at the Catholic Church in Sargent, NE, to this union two daughters where born Tammy and Cindy. Karen worked in the Meat Department at Jack & Jill and later Sargent Pack, she retired 10 years ago. Karen is remembered by her grandchildren by never missing one of their events, she always had the cooler packed and ready to go. She kept a spotless home. Karen was very involved in the Community, active in the Fireman's Auxiliary until it dispersed. Karen is survived by her husband Jim of Sargent, NE, daughters Tammy Mannlein of Sargent, NE, Cindy (Bump) Markham of Merna, NE, four grandchildren Jeff Mannlein, Alyssa Sommer, Ryan Boyd, and Matt Markham, one great-grandchild Grayson Markham, and brother Danny Johnson of Texas. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Neil, brother Larry Johnson, and son-in-law Mike Mannlein.
