Bio

Tessie Slusarski, age 94, of Columbus, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Tessie was born February 25, 1924 in Nance County, NE to John and Mary (Bargiel) Bialas, and attended school in Fullerton, NE. She married Tom Voichoskie on October 28, 1942 and together they had six (6) children. Tom passed away on June 2, 1982. She then married Marion Slusarski on November 26, 1983. Tessie worked at the Columbus High School for 10 years. She loved baking, crocheting, gardening, fishing, traveling, going to the casino, and passing around Jezynowka . She also loved having Christmas to see how big her family had grown every year. She is survived by: Husband: Marion Slusarski, Columbus, NE Daughter: Norma (Louie) Kontor, Columbus, NE Son: Bobby (Beth) Voichoskie, Fullerton, NE Daughter: Bertilla (Dwayne) Korte, Fullerton, NE Son: Charles (Debbie) Voichoskie, Columbus , NE Daughter: Chris (Tony) Babb, Fullerton, NE Step Children: Conrad (finance Diane) Slusarski, of Bellwood, Sharon (Phillip) Ernst, of Columbus, and Carol (finance Jeremy) Griencewic of Omaha.
