Bio

Mrs. Mary Ellen Irvin died at the family home in West Stamford at 6 a.m. Monday morning, August 1. The funeral took place at the late residence of deceased at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 2. Interment took place at Capron Cemetery about seven miles northwest of Stamford. W.M.W. Brown had services in charge and Dennis-Barrow Funeral Home had arrangements in charge. Deceased was born in Alabama, October 8, 1880, hence was nearly 59 years of age at death. She is survived by the following named children: O.L. Irvin and Odell Irvin, of Stamford; Leon Irvin, Mrs. R.D. Hullum, Mrs. C.D. Mullins, and Mrs. L.R. Malone, all of Calloway, CA. Also eight grandchildren survive.
