Francis J. Karpisek, age 81 years of Lincoln, passed away October 6, 2018. He was born on November 16, 1936, in Ulysses, Nebraska, to Frank and Mary (Chloupek) Karpisek. He graduated from Ulysses High School and Lincoln School of Commerce and had a 40 year career at Goodyear. Francis was a member of American Legion Post #3, Moose Lodge #175, Goodyear Retirement Club, Goodyear Union – Local #286 and volunteered at Bryan East Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Darlene, brother Thomas Karpisek, sisters-in-law Clara Karpisek and Rose Sisel and step-mother Wayva Hermsen Karpisek.
