Maurice J. Prasatik 89, of Rock Island was born February 4, 1929 to William Joseph Prasatik and Lenora Wotipka Prasatik and passed away Sunday October 7, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Clarence W Prasatik. Maurice worked for the Postal Service in Richmond, TX for 35 years and was a rancher in Rock Island, TX. He is survived by his wife Ruby Prasatik, his sons David, Fred, and daughter Karen Saltiel, husband Rob, and three stepchildren Gina, husband Jimmie Pavlu, John Tomas, and David Tomas, wife Monica and one brother Norman Prasatik; grandchildren Kristen, Kevin, Katie Saltiel, Frederick Prasatik Jr, Tim Prasatik, Garrett and Cody Tomas; and great grandchild Jayden Prasatik. A Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday October 13, 2018 at Myrtle Cemetery in Rock Island, TX. Serving as pallbearers are Thomas Smedeker, Geroge Cruz, Jerry Nicely, Scott Nicely, Gary Nicely, Ronnie Bean, Michael Moore and Cody Leopold. Special thanks to nurse Nicole and all the nurses and doctor with South Texas Hospice located in Victoria, TX. Memorials may be given First Baptist Church, P.O.
