A visitation for Wanda Haines is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Hilliard Funeral Home. Mrs. Haines passed away at the age of 83 in Lindale on August 27, 2018, surround by love and at peace with a life well lived. Wanda Lou Haines was born December 6, 1936 in Van Zandt County to the late Luther Veazey and Mary Lou Matthews Veazey. She and her late husband, Teddy married in 1956 and over the years, with 2 children in tow, moved from East Texas to Singapore and back returning to Van in 1978. She was a secretary, the best mother ever and active in Kiwanis, Rotary Club. She loved spending time with the ladies in the coffee club. Survivors include her two children, Todd Haines and wife, Alison of Van and Teresa Swartz and her husband, Chuck of Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren, Connor Spurgeon, Carlie Spurgeon, Wayne Clague, Jessica Chavez, Tommy Clague and Kristi Forgy; and numerous great-grandchildren. Her smile and sweet personality will be remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews.
