Bio

Eva Lee Hargus Letterman of Marshfield, Missouri, passed away on July 28, 2018 at the age of 96. She was the last surviving of nine children born to William Wesley Hargus and Ruth Day Hargus. Eva Lee was raised in High Prairie, graduated from Marshfield High School, and was a long-time resident of Rolla, Missouri. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-six years, Ira Spencer Letterman. Her son, Gordon Gregory Letterman, passed away on September 11, 2018. Eva Lee is survived by her daughter-in-law, Katherine Hawkins Letterman, of Nashville, Tennessee, and by beloved nieces and nephews. Eva Lee was strengthened by her Christian faith, was a talented artist in many mediums, and took great delight in her beautiful garden. Graveside services are under the auspices of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri and will be held at the Black Oak Cemetery, East Hwy. DD, Marshfield, MO, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. September 20, 2018 Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
