Bio
Mildred June Smith , age 91 of Sweetwater formerly of Lenoir City passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. June enjoyed a successful career as manager of Nancy Lynn Fashions in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Eugene Smith in 1997; daughter, Debbie Bateman; and seven siblings. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Garland and Brenda Lee and Phil and Jean Newberry; grandchildren, Bryan Lindner, David Newberry, Amy Wise and Nichole Chadwick; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 22nd at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Randy Lawson officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Concord Masonic Cemetery for graveside services.
