Clara Nadine Outlaw December 24, 1927 ~ September 16, 2018 Smith Funeral Home of Newton Clara Nadine Outlaw 90 of Lovelady, Texas and formerly of Bon Wier died on Sept. 16, 2018 at Houston County Nursing Center in Crockett, Texas. She was born on Dec. 24, 1927 in Conroe, Texas and had lived in Bon Wier since the 1960’s where she and her husband, Rev. Paul Outlaw pastored the Bon United Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Paul E. Outlaw of Lovelady, daughter, Gloria Jordan and husband, Roger of Lovelady, grandchildren, Shonda McCarty, Jason Jordan, Timothy Battrell and D’Juanna Jimenez and great grandchildren, Olivia McCarty, Isabella McCarty, Chantey McCarty, Lucas Jimenez, Adrian Jimenez, Gracie Battrell, Ethan Battrell and Madelyn Battrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Lizzie Esther Johnson Eddins, daughter, Paula Dean Battrell, brothers, Charles Eddins, John Eddins, and Marvin Eddins and sisters, Esther Ballou Lockhart, Irene Roberts, Josephine Albright and Doris Griffin. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the River of Life Church in Trinity, Texas with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm at the church. Graveside services will be on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Eastern Gates Cemetery in Trinity.
