Bio

At the young and wonderful age of 94 years, 5 months & 4 days, Mr. Charlie Eddins left this earthly plane for greater adventures. He retired from Uncle Ben's Converted Rice after 30 years of service and was a Tech Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII with the Radar Unit stationed in the Philippines. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Rockport. Mr. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, two brothers and one grandson, Donald Lynn Eddins, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelene Outlaw Eddins; two sons, Rev. Donald L. Eddins (Kay) and Rev. Ronald G. Eddins (Brenda); four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nadine Outlaw (Eddins). Visitation will be held Friday, July 31 from 6p.m.-9p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport. Funeral Service will be held at 10a.m. Saturday, August 1 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Rockport, TX. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
