Bio

Edward J. Boss, 59, died unexpectedly Thursday morning at his home. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. John McGee, 1:30p.m. Saturday at McKown Funeral Chapel with burial in Columbus Cemetery, Columbus, Nebraska. Son of John and Clara (Gerber) Boss, he was born April 26, 1917 in Columbus. A World War II veteran, he served in the Army from December, 1939 to July 11, 1945. His father died in 1939 and his mother, then Clara Ewing died last November, surviving are two brothers Clarence of Lincoln, Glenn of David City, Nieces and nephews.
