"Jessie Mildred Morse, age 84, died August 28, 1990, at Hedrick Medical Center. Mrs. Morse resided at 525 Bridge St. She was born in Fair Play October 25, 1905, to George an Mary Saunders Riddle. She lived most of her life in Chillicothe and attended Chillicothe High School. She was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Morse is survived by a son, Larry A. Johnston of Chillicothe; a daughter, Betty Morse of Carrollton; a sister, Bernice Laport of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Morse, five brothers and three sisters. Graveside services officiated by Dr. Earl Griffith, will be Thursday, Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery."
