Warren Clark, 64, Dies in Alpine Alpine, Utah — Warren Clark, 64, died this evening at the family home in Alpine after a lingering illness. He was born Nov. 10, 1890, in Alpine, the son of Frederic c. and Angelia Vance Clark, and married Bertha Strong in 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had lived in Alpine all his life, and had served as Mayor for two years and also as water master. Mr. Clark served in the U. S. Navy in WWI. A member of the LDS church, he had worked in the Sunday school as superintended and also in the MIA. He was a vocal soloist and also sang in choruses. For 30 years, Mr. Clark operated a mercantile store in Alpine, and had retired about a year ago because of ill health. Survivors include his widow, Alpine, one son, Dan Clark, Alpine, two daughters, Mrs. George (Bessie) Rasmusson, Alpine and Mrs. Darrell (Beverly) Rhodes, Provo; 13 grandchildren; three brothers and one sister: Ernest, Charles, Grover Clark and Mrs. Edward Burgess, all of Alpine. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Alpine LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Reid Burgess officiating. Friends may call at the Anderson Mortuary in American Fork Wednesday night and Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery.
