Angelia Bateman Dies After Illness Alpine, Utah—Mrs. Angelia Grace Clark Bateman, 73, died Tuesday in an American Fork Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born Nov. 7 1878, in Alpine, a daughter of Frederick c. and Angelia Vance Clark. She was married to David William Bateman, August 17, 1894 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died September 21, 1926. She was an active member of the Alpine LDS Ward Relief Society. She is survived by three sons and three daughters: Bernell Bateman, Lehi; Joseph Bateman, American Fork; Ray Bateman, Alpine; Mrs. Harold (Leah) Bair, Carbondale, Colo; Mrs. Elmer (Hilda) Cole, Tooele and Mrs. J. L. (Elva) Mayne, Gypsum, Colo.; 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; four brothers and one sister: Ernest, Charles, Grover and Warren, Clark, and Mrs. Edward W. (Inez) Burgess, all of Alpine. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Anderson Mortuary, American Fork. Published in Daily Herald Newspaper on Wednesday, 23 July 1952
