Mr. Curtis Ray Nord, Sr., of Grantham, NC. died Friday , August 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Nord, born in Georgetown, TX; was the son of the late Ruben Nord and Ora Homeyer Nord. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Morris; a brother, Charles Ruben "Bud" Nord. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from the N.C. Department of Corrections and was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church. He was the husband of Clara Hare Nord of the home in Grantham. He is also survived by children, Teresa Kay Routh (Josh) of Wake forest; Curtis Ray Nord, Jr. (Rhonda) of Greenville; Marvin Glenn Nord (Donna) of Goldsboro; Gary Wayne Nord (Holly) of Four Oaks; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Bryant of Austin, TX. and Bernice Oehrlein of deer Park, TX.
