Bio

Daughter of Lastie and Rachel Young Fregia. She was the wife of John Nugent. They married 22 Jun 1898 in Liberty County, Texas. Obituary published in The Liberty Vindicator; Liberty, Liberty County, Texas on 2 May 1963: Mrs. Nugent, 83, Lifelong County Resident, Buried Mrs. Colastine Nugent, 83, of Liberty died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the family residence after a lengthy illness. She was a life long resident of Liberty County. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the family residence with Rev. E. A. Hendricks and Rev. Harold Davis, officiating. Burial was in the Fregia Cemetery under the direction of Allison Funeral Service. She is survived by her husband, John Nugent, of Liberty; six sons, Ralph, Louis, E.H., Jesse, Ray and Fred, all of Liberty; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Mott and Mrs. Rosie Lee Dagle, both of Liberty and two brothers, Leo and Eli Fregia of Hull; one sister, Mrs. Cora Fregia, Daisetta, and 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
