Bio
Son of Florence and Felicite Celestine Marcontell Fontnow. He married Mrs. Rachel (Fregia) Fregia on 30 May 1901 in Liberty County, Texas. They were the parents of four sons: Thomas, Isaac "Ike," William, and George Fontnow/Fontenot. Clipping of obituary posted on ancestry.com, newspaper not identified: Funeral Services Held Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Fregia Cemetery for Luke Fontnow of Hardin. Mr. Fontnow, 79, died Wednesday morning at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Hardin. Services were conducted by the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Hardin. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachel Fontnow; four sons, Ike of Hull, William and George of Hardin, and Tom of Liberty, and three grandchildren. Pace-Stancil Funeral Home had charge.
