WILLS POINT - Services for Eleanor Joan Toberny Rogers, 81, Wills Point, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Eubank Funeral Home chapel, Canton, with the Rev. Nathan Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton. Mrs. Rogers died May 2, 2007, in Tyler. She was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Dallas, to the late Louis and Marie Mrkyvka Toberny. She graduated from Crozier Technical High School, and worked at Dallas National Bank and Dallas Independent School District. She was a past president of United Methodist Women and Sunday school teacher at Brooklyn Avenue Methodist Church; and currently a member of First United Methodist Church of Canton, UMC Friendship Class, Canton Creative Twelve, Wills Point Quilting Guild and Mathea Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rogers, and sister, Marie Toberny Janousek. Survivors include sons, Robert Rogers, Wills Point, Dennis Rogers and Donald Rogers, both of Canton; daughter, Patricia Rose, Canton; brothers, Louis Toberny, Dallas, and Richard Toberny, Ben Wheeler; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Bradley Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Shaun Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Chad Rose, Kris Ingram, Jeremy Mitchell and Deryk Broyles.
