Bio

HAAG, Vince of Thrall. Age 76. Died 4/9/1973 (Monday) in a Taylor Rest Home after an illness of several weeks. Services held (Wed.) at Condra Memorial Chapel in Taylor. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. James Heineke officiated. He was BORN 8/11/1896, a lifelong resident of Williamson Co. and made his home in Thrall most of his life. A retired farmer. Member of St. Johns Lutheran Church at Thrall. Preceded in death by his wife and 3 brothers. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mrs. Allan Drummond of Thrall; grandson, Emery Drummond; 2 great-grandchildren, Bryan Drummond and Tamara Drummond of Thrall; 3 sisters, Mrs. Tracy Beran of Thrall, Mrs. Bessie Marek of Three Rivers, and Mrs. Ella Wallace of Austin; brother, Emil Haag of Thrall; number of nieces and nephews.
