Bio

Frank Joe Jurica, Jr., 75, passed away in Ennis on August 8, 2018. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Frank was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Frank Joe, Sr. and Frances (Vavra) Jurica. He was a crane operator and member of Operating Engineers Union Local #178 for 44 years. He was married in his heart to Nona Hawkins. His favorite time of the year was driving his Model A during the Polka Festival parade, bluebonnet trails and rebuilding antique cars and vehicles. He found great joy helping others with their vehicle projects as well. Survivors include his son, Frank Joe Jurica III; granddaughter, Caden Jurica; sister, Mary Blair and her husband, Roy; brothers, Danny Jurica and his wife, Margie, and Johnny Jurica; nieces and nephews: Terry, Mary, Yvette, Roy Jr., Angie, and James; numerous great nieces and nephews; and his kitty cat, Anne. R5 He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Frances Jurica; twin sister, Frances Little; brother-in-law, John Little; and Nona Hawkins.
