Services for Jolene Kay McCorkle, 54, of Palestine will be in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with Rev. Bob Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Our Family Cemetery. She was born to Joseph Bernard Baugartner and Marguerite Louise Wortham Baumgartner. Mrs. McCorkle was a Baptist. She was a homemaker and she was a devoted Christian, loving mother, nana, sister and true friend of everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by four daughters, Terri LaRoche of Chandler, Billie Jo Peters of Houston, Bobbie Bell of Houston and Kristi Moore of Sugarland; two sisters, Becky Baumgartner of Palestine and Janet Allen of Tyler; five grandchildren, Falene Panelli, Alyssa Moore, Alexandria Bell, Jeffrey Moore, and Ryan LaRoche. Pallbearers: Craig Moore, James Bell, Patrick LaRoche, Bob McCorkle, Darwin Mitchell and Greg Goree. (Houston Chronicle 10/18/2004)
