Bio
Becky Baumgartner, 63, of Palestine went to be with her Lord and Savior passing peacefully in her sleep with family by her side after a hard fought battle with dementia. She was born to Joseph Bernard and Marguerite L. Wortham Baumgartner. Becky was a devout Christian and member of Southside Baptist Church for many years where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She took great joy in serving others and sharing God's word with her family and friends. After moving from Tyler to Palestine in 1987, Becky worked at Walmart, re-opened her grandfather's store on FM 323 and worked for many years at the Anderson County Treasurer's office. She was precede in death by her parents and two sisters, Sherry and Jolene. She is survived by her sister, Janet Singer and numerous extended family. Funeral services will be in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with Pastor David English officiating. Burial will follow at Our Family Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Greg Goree, Jeffrey Moore, James Bell, Shawn Corriston and Rex Brogdon.
