Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Hagerty, 77, of Corrigan, TX will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery, Corrigan, TX. Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Betty went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Lufkin, Texas. She was born in Corrigan, Texas, on April 12, 1941 to Robert and Helon (Youngblood) Maxey. She graduated from Corrigan High School in 1959 and played basketball on the Varsity team. She married William Frank Hagerty on May 31, 1963. In her early years, she lived in the country on a ranch and enjoyed riding horses. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed reading and sewing. Spending time with her granddaughters Katelyn and Kayleigh always put a smile on her face. Betty was of the Baptist faith and attended Carmona Community Church until her health begin to fail. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helon Maxey and sister Minnie Hargrave. Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank Hagerty of Corrigan, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Joey Keilers of Tomball, Texas; granddaughters, Katelyn and Kayleigh Keilers of Tomball, Texas; sister, Robbie Parrish of Corrigan, Texas; nieces and nephews, Kacee Kirschvink and husband Mike, Starlet Agrella and husband Mark, Marty Parrish and wife Karen, and Mickey Parrish and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Mickey Parrish, Marty Parrish, Joey Keilers, Jake Kosina, Jimmy McDonald, and Ken Morton. Services are entrusted to Corrigan Funeral Home, Inc.
