Funeral Rites For Joe Hubenak, 89 Scheduled Thurs. Joe Hubenak, 89, a retired farmer and long-time resident of Williamson County, passed away Tuesday at 3:20 a.m. in a local hospital. Mr. Hubenak was born February 8 1866, in Fayetteville County. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Sontag Hubenak; eight daughters, Mrs. Frances Wilhow of Sommerville, Mrs. Mary Marek of Kaufman, Mrs. E. J. Marek of Taylor, Mrs. Carrie Layton and Mrs. Olga Hogan, both of Houston, Mrs. Lester Perreten of Thrall, and Mrs. Jim Kropp of Thorndale. Two daughters, Mrs. Albina Kubala and Mrs. Tracy Pech, preceded him in death. Rosary will be recited at the Condra Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursdsay from the Condra Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Stephen P. Brown and the Rev. Arthur Michalka officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor City Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as ballbearers.
