Betty Loven Garrett October 15, 1933 – June 6, 2018 Betty Garrett, 84, of Lubbock, passed away June 6, 2018. She was born in Texarkana, TX in October of 1933. Betty married Billy Garrett on March 31, 1950. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and had a passion for sewing. Betty was an excellent seamstress and she also enjoyed baking sweets for her family. She was a wonderful organizer. Betty was a member of Community of Christ Church. She is survived by a son, Billy Don Garrett of Glenview, IL, a daughter, Gala Rogers of Lubbock, grandchildren, Brian Rogers, Nathan Garrett and Hannah Garrett and a brother, Lyn Loven of Arizona. She was preceded by her parents, her husband and a sister, Barbara Lynn. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10 am at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
