Margaret L Horne married Jessie Charles Long on January 17, 1931 in North Platte, Nebraska. Obit was located in the "Telegraph" North Platte, Nebraska, Thursday, March 22, 1990, page 6, and reads as follows: "Margaret L. Long, 84, of route 3, died Wednesday at a local nursing home. She was born Jan. 20, 1906, at Maxwell to Arthur and Catherine Buchtel Horne and as a child, moved with her family to North Platte. She married J. Charles Long on Jan. 17, 1931, at North Platte. He died July 14, 1989. Mrs. Long was a member of the Catholic faith and the DAR. Survivors include two sons and their wives, James A. and Florence of Bridgeport and Ted and Margaret of North Platte; two brothers, Art Horne and Luther Horne, both of North Platte; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers.
