Bio

Florence Lasiter, 93, of Palestine, Texas died July 13, 1985. Burial will be in Fields Chapel under direction of Hassell & Foster Funeral Home. She was born in Tennessee on Nov. 15, 1891, to William Henderson and Mary Ingle Kite. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.W. "Tommy" Lasiter in 1956. Survivors are daughters, Ramie Wingate of Palestine, and Gladys Cooper of Lake Palestine; sons, Calvin Lasiter and Lloyd Lasiter, both of Palestine; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
