Bio

My great-great grandmother, Georgia Ann Dumas, was born 1861 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Wilson Redwine Dumas and Catherine Segur Suggs. My great uncle, who was her grandson, pronounces her name Georgann as if it were one word. As far as I know, she had three husbands and she had one child with each. Her first marriage was to my great-great grandfather, Levi Clinton Morphew, about 1890, in Arkansas. Their son was Thomas Andrew Morphew. Her second marriage was to a John Cothran. Their daughter was named Lillie Mae Cothran. Her third marriage was to a man named Cole Dodson. Their son was named Clyde Dodson.
