Mrs. Barbara Nell Gowin, 70 of Snyder,TX died on Monday, July 02, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas. Services for Mrs. Gowin will be held on Friday, July 06, 2018, at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Buddy Payne officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Mrs. Gowin was born on Sunday, February 15, 1948 in Quannah, TX to Raymond "Bud" Leslie and Jessie (Terrell) Scarbrough. She married Bill Gowin on Saturday, March 04, 1972 in Snyder, Texas. Barbara was the secretary at Stanfield elementary school for 20 years and was a five time cancer survivor. She is survived by: Husband - Bill Gowin, Snyder, TX Daughter - Kara Welch and husband Tommy, Snyder, TX Mother - Jessie Scarbrough, Snyder, Tx. Grand Child - Ethan Gowin, Snyder, TX Brother - Terrell Scarbrough, Ft. Stockton, TX She was preceded in death by: Her father 1) Daughter - Shae Gowin Visitation will be held Thursday, July 05, 2018 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
