Funeral services for Ethel Mae Copeland, 71, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, in the Dickens Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Dickens Cemetery in Dickens. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. She passed away on April 25, 2007. Ethel was born Dec. 24, 1935, in Eufala, Okla. She married Charles N. Copeland on July 9, 1955, in Dickens. She was a certified nurse's aid and was employed for many years at several area nursing homes. She was a past member of the Dickens Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rick and Glenn Copeland; a daughter, Joyce Engels; a brother, Raymond Adams; a sister, Lucille Atkins; and two grandchildren, Derek and Brandon Copeland. The family will receive friends from 6 -7 p.m. Friday at Sanders Funeral Home.
