LESHIKAR, John of Taylor. Age 89, Died 4/24/1976 (Sat.) (in paper 5/6/76) in a Taylor retirement home. Services held 4/26 (Monday) from Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. He was born 11/14/1886 in Travis Co., a member of American Spiritualist Church and of the SPJST Lodge. He was the grandfather of Howard Leshikar, a retired farmer and a member of the Thorndale School faculty. SURVIVORS: 3 daughters, Mrs. Sadie Beran and Mrs. Charles (Bess) Kuhn, both of Taylor and Mrs. Dan (Helen Jane) Cervenka of Gainesville; son, Ben Leshikar of Taylor; 3 sisters, Mrs. Albina Kovar, Mrs. Charlie Hurta and Mrs. Rosie Slovacik, all of Taylor; brother Willie Leshikar, Sr. of Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
