Imo Jean Maricle, 74, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at a local hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at OakCrest Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, at OakCrest Funeral Home with burial to follow at Eddy Cemetery. Imo Jean was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Jesse "Jess" Lee Sr. and Clara Bell (Irwin) Davis, and has lived here all her life. On March 28, 1949, she married Al "Lit" Maricle. She was a housewife and a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed. Imo Jean was preceded in death by her husband in 2003: and son, Douglas Maricle . Imo Jean leaves her son, Al Maricle, Jr. and his wife, Cecilia; daughters, Aljean Rhodes and her husband, Vernon, and Vicky Hayden and her husband, James; granddaughter, who she raised as her own, Jenny Lynn Farmer and her husband, Clint; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Mitcham, Audrey Williams, and Evelyn Graves; brother, Jerry Davis; other relatives and many friends.
