Bio

Jimmy Ray Filipp, Sr., 72, of Danbury passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 in Angleton Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Jimmy was born July 16, 1945 in Angleton Texas to Frank & Emily Pustejovsky Filipp. He graduated from Danbury High School and served in the US Army. Jimmy loved to hunt, fish, BBQ and woodworking. He was always willing to help anyone and loved doing things with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his many nieces and nephews as well as his grandchildren and great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his Parents, his brother Alvin "Meek" Filipp, sister Georgia Reeder and wife Marilyn. Survivors include his Children; Dale "Red" Filipp of Danbury, Renee Ryan & husband Earl of Danbury & Jimmy Filipp, Jr. & wife Marsha of Houston. Grandchildren; Chris Ryan, Rachel Osborn, Jeffrey Ryan, Kimberlyn Stavinoha, Jacqueline Filipp, Faith Filipp, Dale Filipp, Jr. & Madelynn Filipp. Great Grandaughter. Ryan Osborn Brothers & Sisters, Eugene Filipp & wife Barbara, Benjamin Filipp, Benita Dixon, Ellamarie Filipp all of Danbury & Mary Stark of Angleton and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
