Advocate, The (Baton Rouge, LA) - Monday, June 13, 2005 Mary Adams McDonald, 82, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family Friday, June 10, 2005. She was born in Amite County, Miss., and was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Leith McDonald; her parents, W.H. and Lillie Adams, formerly of Baton Rouge; a brother, W.H. Adams II; and sister, Dorothy Adams Purcell, formerly of Baton Rouge. Mrs. McDonald was a 1943 graduate of LSU and taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades at Broadmoor Elementary School until she retired in 1978.
