Bio

Deloris, age 82, passed away in the St. Francis Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was the daughter of Eber and Nora (Shackelford) Walker. She married Glenn Gorley in October 1953 in Wichita, Kansas. Survivors include her children, Wilma Merryweather, David Gorley, and Janel Oliver, her siblings, Alice Hershberger, Doris Rieff (her twin), Dorothy Brown, and Jack Walker, 17 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her children, Dell Gorley and Pam Gilliland. Services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and burial followed at the Mount Hope Cemetery, both in Independence, Kansas.
