Graveside service for Lorian Oscar “Wolf” Robertson, 81, of Hawkins, is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Turner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home. Lorian Oscar Robertson was born at home in Wood County on January 7, 1937, to William Osburn Robertson and Myrtle Viola (Gilbreath) Robertson. He lived in Wood County all of his life, and was self-employed in logging and tree service. He was an extremely hard working man. When he wasn’t working, you could find him hunting or fishing. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and a great friend to everyone. Mr. Robertson passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Quitman. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brothers and sisters. Survivors include his son, Darrell Robertson and wife LaRhonda of Hawkins; two brothers, Billy Joe Robertson and Loyd Robertson, both of Hawkins; two sisters, Dora Peek of Hawkins and Martha Marsh of Big Sandy; two grandchildren, Randa Nance and Zachary Collette; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Serving as pallbearers are Keith Warren, Mike Attaway, Jim Slayton, Bobby Dale Williams, Mathis Wells, and Clifford Moss. Alternate pallbearer is Marlin Williams.
