Two column account of the death of Claus Obermueller (sic) in the Grand Island Independent Friday 21 June 1895, p. 4. Born Friederichsholm, Schleswis-Holstein, Germany. Came first to Chicago, where he married Frederike Kurth, then west to Omaha, then to Hall County, Nebraska about 1865.
