Topeka Daily Capital, Friday, Oct. 26, 1951, page 28: Oscar E. Israel Oscar E. Israel, 70, of 1622 Sage, died Thursday in a Topeka hospital. He was born May 16, 1881, in Ford County, Kan., and had lived in Topeka 36 years. He was a member of the German Lutheran Church. He is survived by two brothers, B.L. Israel, Topeka, and William Israel, Rolla, Kan.; and three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Roney of Scranton; Mrs. Leona Thomas, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Laura A. Oberle, Pasadena, Calif.
