Bio

David R. Zelazny, 55, of Columbus, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the Columbus Community Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Heritage House in Columbus. David was born June 29, 1962, in Genoa to Cyril 'Pete' and Leoma (Kinzer) Zelazny. He attended school in St. Edward, Nebraska. Pete grew up in St. Edward and through the years lived in Albion, Shreveport, Louisiana; and Columbus. In 1984, David was united in marriage to Barb Woeppel, and in 1991 married Jean Ann Lee. He was an outdoors man, enjoyed fishing and woodworking. David is survived by his daughter, Randi Zelazny of Council Bluffs, Iowa;daughter Nycole Zelazny of Columbus, daughter Danielle Zelazny of Shreveport, La.; and sister Bonnie (Mike) Wilcynski of Georgia. David was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Leoma Zelazny, brothers Marvin and George Zelazny and sister Kathleen Zelazny.
