Bio

Alfred Taylor A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the First Baptist Church in Eugene for Alfred D. Taylor of Eugene, who died April 11 of age-related causes. He was 80. Taylor was born Jan. 16, 1927, in Beeville, Texas, to Daniel and Ola Gressett Taylor. He was a farmer and rancher and had worked for the Trunkline Gas Co. He also designed and built special planters and harvesters, and other labor-saving tools for his company. He married Hazel Harris on Oct. 1, 1949, in Beeville. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sharon Taylor and Linda Kocurek, both of Coburg; and one grandchild. The inurnment at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Remembrances to the First Baptist Church in Eugene for the Camp Harlow scholarship fund.
