OBITUARY VIRGINIA RUDEAN CURTIS SEATON was born August 22, 1933 near Counce, Hardin County, Tennessee, the eleventh child of the late Johnston Albert Curtis and Josie Albinah Smith Curtis. She was the granddaughter of the late Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Davis and Mary Ellen Osborn Curtis; and, John Groves Smith and Sarah Ann "Sallie" Duncan Johnson Smith. On August 9, 1947, she was united in marriage to William Guyn "Dan" Seaton in Corinth, Alcorn County, Mississippi. They resided from 1951 to 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. After Mr. Seaton's retirement from General Motors, they moved to their home on Fox Hollow Loop near Savannah, Tennessee. Their 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated on August 3, 1997 at a surprise party hosted by their son, Danny Lowell Seaton, his wife, Margaret Ann Taylor Seaton, their grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Seaton, surrounded by her family, departed this life on April 19, 2018 at her home on Fox Hollow Loop, Savannah, Hardin County, Tennessee, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 28 days. She is survived by her son, Danny Lowell Seaton and wife Margaret Seaton; grandson, Gregory Daniel Seaton and wife Donna Seaton; granddaughter, Wendy Lynn Seaton Gannon and husband Gary Gannon; great-granddaughters, Hayley Vanessa Gannon, Tia Elizabeth Gannon; great-grandsons, Corey Daniel Seaton and wife Erika Seaton and Joshua Ryan Seaton; great great granddaughter, Madilyn Rose Seaton; special nephews, Mike Curtis and wife Carol Curtis and Tommy Seaton; special niece, Becky Gray; and numerous others. Preceding her in death were her parents, her beloved husband, and siblings: Ruth Jewel Curtis South, Ruby Frances Curtis South, Raney Lee Belle Curtis Gober McAnally, Reba Dee Ivy Curtis Wood, Rilla Odessa Curtis Riddle, Rena Mae Curtis Freeman, Raymond Curtis, Joseph R. G. Curtis, Rudelle Curtis, Alma Racine Curtis Young, and Ressie Remelda Albinah Curtis Black Hall.
