CHARLOTTE (GOTHIER) MILLER, 82, of LeMars, Iowa, passed away January 9, 2001, in Sioux City, Iowa. Burial was at Memorial Cemetery in LeMars. Charlotte was the daughter of Edmund and Martha (Bernard) Gothier, and was born on January 11, 1918, on the family farm near Anthon. She graduated from Anthon High School. She taught school in rural Woodbury County, Plymouth County, and California. She returned to the LeMars, Iowa, area and married Herman Miller on January 11, 1989. She is survived by her husband; a sister Shirley Gotheir of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters-in-law, Beth Gothier of Anaheim, CA and Barb Gothier of Sioux City, Iowa. Three step-children; Linda and Dan Chapman of Meridan, Janet and Rodney Matz of Hawarden, and Rev. Curtis and wife Sharyl of Storm Lake, Iowa; as well as step-grandchildren, nieces,nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Sawin, and Nita Belknap; and two brothers, Edward and Harold Gothier.
