Bio

Ivan Goochey, 86, of Lincoln, died June 24, 2011. He was born May 18, 1925 at home in Loup County to Louis A. and Hannah Goochey. He had a long and successful career as a counselor at East High School in Lincoln where he formed many lasting relationships. He had a great appreciation of the Arts, a keen sense of humor, and a zest for life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie; step-son, Jay Wood; daughter-in-law, Sandy Wood; grandchildren, Jamie, Jason and Kasie Wood; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Celebration of life gathering to share stories and memories: Sunday October 23rd, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mahoney State Park at the Lee Sapp Riverview Lodge (State Park Permit required for entrance) Arrangements: Aspen Cremation and Burial Service, Lincoln.
