He married (1) Rose Wuthrich at Paris, Idaho, on April 28, 1919; (2) Clara Rebecca Maughan at Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 22, 1921. _______________________________________ Lawrence H. Rhodes Lawrence H. Rhodes, who had been a switchman for Southern Pacific Co. for 45 years before retiring, suffered a heart attack while driving Tuesday and died in a local hospital. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McGinnis & Wilhelm Funeral Home, with vault entombment in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. Mr. Rhodes was born June 10, 1898, in Lehi, Utah. He moved to Portland 40 years ago and resided at 6807 SE 175th Ave. He was a member of Columbia Masonic Lodge No. 114, LDS Church 2nd Ward and was a past patron of OES Sellwood Chapter No. 92. Surviving are his wife, Clara; one daughter, Mrs. M. A. Kirkpatrick, Beaverton; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Adams, Magna, Utah, and Mrs. Orald Hair, Provo, Utah, and three grandchildren.
