Fort Bend Herald, March 2, 2018: Dorothy Betty (Knesek) Cernoch, 91, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on February 27, 2018. She was born on April 29, 1926 in Ammannsville, Texas to Frank and Eugenia (Barta) Knesek. Dorothy was a long-time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Dorothy truly will be missed. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Evan Cernoch; four sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Evan Cernoch and wife, Deborah, Larry Cernoch, and Ricky L. Cernoch and wife, Nan; grandchildren, Richard Cernoch, Will Cernoch and wife, Crystal, Becky Cernoch, Nikki Suiter and husband, Matthew, Melissa Dyches, and LeAnn Cernoch; great-grandchildren, Abbey, Randa, Riann, Ryan, Riley, Shabry, Fahren, and Cinder; great-great-granddaughter, Ari; along with extended family and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a rosary at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with Father William D. Bartniski officiating. Burial will follow at West Gethsemane Gardens in Rosenberg. Pallbearers will include Jim Olive, Bill Knesek, Ronnie Knesek, Dennis Rohan, Ervin Kutac, Elvin Kutac, and Ernest Hrachovy.
