Funeral Notice August 17, 1955 W.E. SIMEK, 60, SUCCUMBS; FUNERAL SERVICES THURSDAY W. E. Simek, 60, died at a local hospital Tuesday at 4:30 P.M. after a brief illness. Born July 30, 1895, at Granger, he had lived most of his life near Red Ranger. He was a member of the Moravian Church at Seaton and was married to the former Miss Frances Polasek in June, 1912. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Janicek of Temple; a son Rudolph Simek of Modesto, California; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Ondrasek of Red Ranger and Mrs. Will Skrabanek and Mrs. Joe Skrabanek of Caldwell; four brothers, Will Simek of Rosebud, Adolph and Emil Simek both of Temple and John Simek of Houston; and four grandchildren. A brother Frank Simek, died in 1936. Funeral services will be held at the Hewett Funeral Home Thursday at 3:00 P.M. followed by services at the Seaton CMB Church with the Rev. F.J Kostohryz officiating. Burial will be in the Seaton National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mr. Simek's nephews.
