Temple Daily Telegram February 23, 1949 Funeral services for Mrs. J.W. Simek, 77, who died in a local hospital Tuesday, will be held at Pace's Chaple at 1 P.M. Thursday, followed by services at the Czech Moravian Brethren Church at Seaton. Services will be conducted by Reverand F.J. Kostohryz, and burial will be in the Seaton cemetery. Pall bearers will be her grandsons. She is survived by five sons and three daughters: Walter of Red Ranger, Will of Seaton, Emil of Zabcikville, Adolph of Temple, John of Houston, Mrs Amalie Ondrasek of Red Ranger, Mrs E.A. Skrabanek of Cyclone and Mrs. Tracy Skrabanek of Caldwell; 26 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother Vince Dukatnik of Levelland and three sisters, Mrs. Joe Sefcik of Seaton, Mrs Mary Schiller of Oscar and Mrs. Rosalie Motl of Terrell. Her husband and one son preceded her in death. Pall Bearers: John E Ondrasek, Arnold C Ondrasek, Clarence A Ondrasek, Woodrow Marek, Marvin Ondrasek, Willie Simek, Alfred Simek and Leroy Simek.
